Become a bookkeeper
Copenhagen College of Accountancy diploma examination for bookkeepers is a complete bookkeeper education. Over 20 whole days spread out over 10 months the students will be taught all the nooks and corners of an accounts department. The lessons are prepared for office workers and others with flair for IT who wish to improve their bookkeeping skills and in the long term be able to take responsibility for the bookkeeping of the company.
The lessons include:
To be able to evaluate and compare different accounting systems
Bookkeeping in debtor-, creditor- and financesystems
Import and export of data from accounting systems to spreadsheets
Administration of salaries and bookkeeping of salaries
Control in the bookkeeping department, making the annual accounts ready and co-operation with the auditor
Preparation of a budget and budget control
The teachers are experienced accountants and auditors. The classes are a mix of presentations/lectures, discussions and independent solving of problems. Expect a couple of hours of homework before each class. The students can choose to finalize the course with a 5-hour written exam. The diploma will be issued in Danish and English.
The lessons will be carried out in Danish, and there is quite a lot of reading matter for parts of the course which is also in Danish.
The diploma course for bookkeepers is divided in modules:
Module 1: basic course for beginners with no experience in bookkeeping.
Module 2-4: three courses for participants who have taken the course in module 0 or have some experience with bookkeeping including the accounting programme e-conomic or SummaSummarum. Module 1, 2 and 3 must be taken consecutively.
Revising course and exam. Only students who have completed module 4 kan attend.
The total cost for module 1-4: DKK 40.500 + VAT
